A little noise from a folder guy. Mike Tison's Sowbelly

Quote by Tim Britton
"interesting to note that MANY of you guys are fixed blade knife fans.....very few photos or mention of "famous" folder makers.... Are we growing tired of high end, highly polished slivers of steel with funky mechanisms ?
My sliplock folders fly off my table at shows....forged pieces move more slowly and bead blast tacticals have bored me for years."

Tim, good to see ya here. The forged blade guys here are pretty vocal :) folder guys are a bit quieter.:) It's all good!

Anyone want to play a game here?

A few classic car buddies an I try to determine the make and vintage of classic sportscars just by examining a photo of an obscure part of the car (gauge cluster, seat cover, gearshift, un-marked wheel cover or steering wheel etc).

Between those of us who don't already know, who is the maker of the knife in Roger's avatar?

I choose Russ?

Perhaps Roger will award the knife to the winner?;):)

You are correct, Kevin :D

A few years ago, Ari Fisher used to play a game like this here but with the hamon of different blades. Was much fun!

I do miss Ari.

Guards.

Whether it's long guards, d-guards, oval guards, finger-hole guards, whatever. As long as the knife has a large guard that protects my fingers, the knife gets a closer look.
