Custom Leather Sheath for Custom BK2

She's a beauty! I love the hollow pins. It's been convexed so you can strop it up with some wet/dry on a mouse pad without putting a scratch on her pretty face (practice a little on a junker first).

You have to get a user though, so you can get the full Becker experience.

Thanks tradewater, I'll see how regular stropping on black and green compound does first. That will produce minimal scratching.

Already got some good practive actually - I convexed my Recon Scout completely by hand by using sandpaper.

First things first though, a sheath! I've got in touch with Moose so it shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Yar, it should match the Jarrah wood perfect too. Man, I love that stuff.

Just so you know, that is an unregulated Becker, it should be sent to me for destruction.:D

Very, very, very nice looking knife, HoC, I do love that look.

Good haul.

Negative sir, I realize you're new to this sub forum, but that would be a major breach in Becker protocol.

10/4 on that
Becker Knives Work For A Living

A BK2 safe queen is an insult to all things Becker. The true beauty of that knife llays in its functionality not the shine. Nicks and scratches from honest work are badges of honor with stories to share around the camp fire to warm the hearts of Becker heads.

That said learn how to properly strop your blade and you will be able to retain that shine and edge. Remember it is made of high carbon 1095 CroVan. So it will rust sitting in the safe unused. It needs to be used and kept oiled to prevent the rust. I use a thin coat of Gunzilla (the best gun cleaner/lubricant/protectant on earth) on all my Beckers with good result. It puts a dry non ionic, non toxic film on the metal that does not attract dirt and grime like regular oils does and effectively repels moisture protecting your blade.

Congratulations on having a very beautiful knife. A real beauty that is a user

Negative. Carbon V, or 0170-6C steel. Not 1095 CroVan.

Bladite has an entire bunker of unsed Beckers. HoC should store that one, and buy a new one to beat the shit out of. Just sayin'.

I currently have a weekly routine where I oil all my knives (most are A2 steel). This one will be no exception!
