Custom Leather Sheath - Where do I look?

I just bought me a beautiful Buck 112 Ranger - rehandled with pink/purple camel bone. Didn't come with a sheath. I don't want just a black/brown Buck Sheath for it.

I know there are guys on BFC who do leather work, but I don't know which forum to go to so I can find them.

It's a Totally Judy knife and it needs a Totally Judy Sheath.

Thanks.

Judy

p.s. I didn't want to post in CC and piss off Ken......... :p

leatherman and leatherface both can be found in the busse subforum
gary grailey posts in the buck subforum some all have very good recomendations

Mr. Collucci has made me 2 custom sheaths for a couple of Buck 110's; one 110 has a one armed bandit... solid leather work! I'm sure one of his sheaths for a 112 will suit your needs.

Ken's gonna make the perfect sheath for my knife.

Thanks, Ken! What a wonderful and cool gesture.

Sounds like you're taken care of, but just for the future, let throw out there that lifter4him David Abramson does great work. I think he's to be found around the Busse forums too, and maybe ShopTalk.

Thanks, Mike. I'm familiar with his member ID, but didn't know anything else. I'll keep him in mind for the future.

Esav,

You are the ultimate source of knowledge! Is there anything you don't have a comprehensive list of?

Thanks..... I'll keep that list handy for future reference.

Knife is in my possession as I type this. I will be sketching the layout latr today and stitching it up this evening. I'm going with a suede lining on this one. :)

I'm just a few blocks away!

I really want to admire the knife. I've already seen a lot of Ken's clunky sheaths. :p

Oh. I had forgotten that you live like 4 blocks or so from Ken. Heck, yeah, you gotta check out my BITCHEN knife. And while Ken's other sheath's may have been clunky....this one is gonna be BITCHEN to go with the BITCHEN knife!

Yippee! I'm a lucky girl! I'm a lucky girl! :p

Ken or Esav,

Do you take good photos? I'd love to have one with the sheath and knife - I could use it as my avatar. Clunky sheath and all!
