Custom Machete?

Hi guys,

For a long while I've been wondering if I'd like to have a custom made INFI machete. I came to the conclusion that, yes, I would.

Ofcourse I don't need one yet (I'm being held captive in a city that covers an entire country, it's called the UK), but I was wondering if those who've had totally custom busses could give me an idea of how much I could expect to pay for something with a blade around 14".

Going on what I've been told already, I'm expecting it to be a whole lot of money. Fortunately the dollar's down against the pound right now and looks set to drop a bit more. Still I'm gonna have to do alot of saving.

What's more, if I get it I'm gonna beat the hell out of it and trust it with my life, which is why it needs to be Busse.

INFI Machete huh...I know I've heard of that before. Rumor has it that one is possible but, be forwarned the wait is somewhere around 3yrs...

I remember seeing something like that as well. However it must not be a standard custom price.

- A regular Off duty is between 7.5" and 8.0" in length. It's cost is $467

- The MOAB is 19" in length. It's cost is $1600.

- The Sooee knife is 15" in length. It's cost is stated at $2000.

Even if we only go by blade lengths the prices don't match up to $90-$100 per inch.

Hells Hornet
Hells Hornet was a custom project specifically made for none other than the Idahoskunk. As far as it being part of a production run, can you say "no way Jose"?

Custom projects typically run about $100 per inch (not $200) including the handle. Land, cars, boats, guns (but no children) can be used as barter. But don't expect a discount for trades!!

Give me a call or drop me a line and I will work with you as I did with Idaho....

As much as I would love for Jerry or Marc to answer this, I figure since I can explain it, might as well keep them both grinding.

If you were to order a non-production custom, a GFD, or a knife that you dreamed up after you fell off the toilet (Flux Capacitor Bowie?:D ) The price for it be given life by Busse Combat starts at $100 dollars an inch(Price may go up depending on things hand ground serrations or finishes).

Custom Shop offerings- such as the ABLE, AD and the MOAB are priced as the shop sees fit, depending on cost, materials and time needed for production.

Variants- Price determined by size, style and model the variant is based on.

One of a kinds dreamed up by the shop - SOOOEEE knife,35letter sub hilt, and other "$2000.00" knives are given that price, based on the fact that such one of a kinds have been publicized, they will command a premium on the free market and often reach a value meeting or exceeding $2000.00

Maybe one with a double handle made from a combination of the BB, Straight and Tiger handles?

Okay, so I'm looking at $2000. I can do that, maybe......eventually.

But 3 years wait? Seriously?! Maybe I should order now, and then pay in instalments. ;)
