Custom Makers and Purveyors - What do you carry?

Well, I carry one of my own creations. After carrying a standard EBK around for several months, "proofing" it, I made this damascus, wharncliff model for me. It's the only EBK I have ever made in damascus...so far

Maybe I'm wierd, but I think that anybody who makes a using blade should carry one around for a while, just to ensure it's gona be a good one!

Slick looking Damascus, Ed.

Welcome to the forums, Ron. You and your dad make some mind-blowing knives.

I ususally carry one of my small ATS34 straight knives in a pocket sheath, as well as a tiny SAK (no knife blade; just nail file, scissors, tweezers, and ballpoint pen!).

If I know in advance I will need it (camping, etc.), I strap on one of my 3" drop point hunters. Also occassionally carry an AG Russel one-hand knife or a Spyderco Delica II.

I am happy to say that I now carry a Cooper liner lock! Never thought I'd get these &&^%^#&^$*(*&&^(* folders figured out but I did! Actually carried and used it today.

Take care!! Michael

Always think of your fellow knife makers as partners in the search for the perfect blade, not as people trying to compete with you and your work!
