I was at a knife show the other day and saw at least 2 makers who had tigerstriped the blades on their knives in the same fashion you guys use, but what really got me is one of them also had a cordwrap on his knife that was similar, if not identical, to the one you guys use. The knife didn't look that great, and it was obvious that is wasn't a Strider(my mother could even tell)... but I'm sure somebody, somewhere might not get that fact.

What is your stance on people producing blades like this? Is there anything that can be done along the lines of copyright infringement, or is it just tough ****? I don't think it's right, but I don't know if anything can be done or not...

I can understand where you are coming from however with the given nature of the knife industry, makers are bound to walk close lines to each other now and then with methods and designs with no copy-cat intentions present.

Now if they were intentionally trying to copycat a certain maker or company and mislead the public with those products like so many of the fake production popups lately, that would be a different story.

Hi Guys I was surfing around & saw a web sight that had the new knives you are talking about with the cord wrap & tiger striping. I also saw in the new Blade magazine that they were ripping Busse off also with an ad that had Mean Streets in great big letters talking about their new tough little knives they also say they are "TOPS" in knife making. :barf:
