Custom Makers

We have so many qualified knife makers who can and do make fighting Bowies.

I would do some drawings and start talking to a couple of people whose work you like and see who gets interested in your design.
The maker who sees merit in your design will do the best job.

I'd start with Tom Mayo and Gene Osborn.

thank you very much ken...but after reading all the posts and looking at his original question and his later response...i gotta say you should have another 1911 as a back up. The first rule....dont EVER take a knife to a gun fight.....actually thats the second rule....the first one is have a gun....tm (very big believer in sam colts equalizer)
