Hello all!
I am hoping to order another Manix 2 (i own a lightweight back home), and I have been trying to contact service providers here on the forums for a set of sculpted, and very roughly finished red canvas micarta scales for it (and maybe a ZT 0550 scale too). The problem is, all of whom I have contacted are no longer offering services or backlogged for months. I figured I would try my luck here since I have lost hope in individually contacting members.
I was hoping for the sculpting to be like this, but with as rough as a finish as possible for grip; I hate it when my knives and multitools pop out of my hands when I have grease on them. I also think red would be a nice change of pace for micarta.
Is anyone here willing or able to make some scales for me? I am currently stationed in Japan, but since I have a FPO address, shipping should still be a US rate.
