I have for sale today a custom Matt Lamey Bowie with a recurve blade out of, what I believe but cannot swear to, 1095 hand-forged steel....there are still hammer/forge marks on the flat of the blade. There is a very nice hand-applied patina to the blade....but it could use a bit of touch up on the edge; I just haven't had time to do it myself. This is one very beefy, solid knife that is just begging to be used.....specs are as follows:
*12.5" Overall Length
*5" Handle Length
*7.5" Blade Length
*5/16" Blade thickness at handle and tapers to tip
*Leather sheath is nice but maker is unknown
I would like to get $195.00 shipped,insured and paypalled for the knife. First "I'll take it" followed by PM/Email gets a great knife. Thanks for looking.....
