Custom/modified sheath Porn request!

kabar gen1 sheath with leather formed to the topside. The large surface has rubbing compound in it to use as a strop. The rest is sno-sealed so I have something wipe the edge on to keep it gently coated.

However I've ordered a new kydex sheath from Mr. Poff so I'll have to revisit the carry-along strop idea.

I made a Yellow 2Piece (Pancake) for the BK7, and I really liked it, but my computer ate the images, so I have no good images to share with you.

And I can make one for the BK9.

Thanks. But I got it made at a small leather shop while working in Eastern Ontario. I can't remember the name and my search was unsuccessful. C and L or C and D leather - something like that. Those were blurry days :)

How are those loops attached? It looks like the middle loop is an optional one that adds the vertical hanging position and the outer two are to use for horizontal carry. Also, do those snaps snap on to both sides of the sheath? Like if you took them off you'd have 3 male posts sitting on both sides of the sheath?

Also, could you snap a pic of how he made the strap that has the belt loop?
