Custom Mosaic Pins

Try doing shorter lengths:D
I did some individual pins 1 1/4" long and it was easy...no voids.
Just takes a little longer.

I'll be honest - it's not a straightforward mosaic pin I'm thinking about. If it was just rods, it wouldn't be that hard. :(

I don't want to let the cat out of the bag here on the public forum yet (sorry...:(), but when I get them finished and put into a handle, I will definitely post a pic for y'all to see.

I have an old liposuction machine. I wonder if that would provide enough suction if I replaced the worn out rubber tubing with vacuum hose...
 
I bought it before I learned that chiropractors can't perform surgery. What a bummer! :p I actually found it in the storage shed of a doctor in a multidisciplinary clinic I interned in. It's basically a little vacuum pump with a hose that goes to a glass jar (I assume that's where the fat, blood and other unnecessary stuff goes), and another hose that goe to the top of the jar where the wand/cutter they use is hooked to. If you've ever seen lipo done it's a brutal procedure and it can really mess people up or kill them quite handily. But, maybe the equipment is good for sucking epoxy through tubes. Don't know what sort of suction it uses. I should take a picture of it for everyone...
