custom nimravus handles???

does anyone make/sell aftermarket nimravus handle scales? I love the knife but I can't stand the aluminum scales on the newer ones.

I've never heard of custom Nim scales, but, Benchmade was making G-10 scales for the knife - I have one and like them (of course, I like the aluminum Nim I have too )

I don;t know if Benchmade is still making the G-10, but you could call or email them. They might have some extras they could sell you. You can also still find the Nimravus with G-10 scales for sale, though I'm thinking you don;t want to buy a whole new knife.

And...... since the Nim scales are screwed on, you could make your own out of wood.

already called BM. I used to have one with G10 but sold it. When I bought another they had already switched to aluminum. BM said they haven't had G10 scales since they switched. Oh well

Hmmm...well, like I said, you might try wood, or go to Texas Knife Supply and get some G-10 blanks, or.....experiment with making some Micarta. Good thing about the Nim is the screw-on scales.
