TRADED!
I bought a Victorinox One-Hand Trekker, and put new scales on it. Pretty sure they're oak, I could be wrong. Sanded the bare wood to 1000 grit, then superglue coated and took it back to a comfortable 400 grit. Feels good in the hand.
Before:
During:
And after:
Toothpick, tweezers, and keyring all fully functional.
So what I'd really like is to do this again. It was fun! So I hope someone will trade me an unmodified SAK (not necessarily another OHT, but must have plastic scales) plus another knife to make up the difference in value. That way, someone gets a unique OHT, and I get a blank template, plus a knife for my trouble.
I'm not picky- big, little, fixed, folding, locking, slippie, SE, PE, I'll consider any offer. I hope this seems like a good deal- I can see myself being a happy supplier of pretty wood-sided SAKs to forumites, and building a modest knife collection with my work.
Box, tiny little manual, toothpick, tweezers, keyring. Email MSCantrell at gmail.com
