TRADED!

I bought a Victorinox One-Hand Trekker, and put new scales on it. Pretty sure they're oak, I could be wrong. Sanded the bare wood to 1000 grit, then superglue coated and took it back to a comfortable 400 grit. Feels good in the hand.

Toothpick, tweezers, and keyring all fully functional.

So what I'd really like is to do this again. It was fun! So I hope someone will trade me an unmodified SAK (not necessarily another OHT, but must have plastic scales) plus another knife to make up the difference in value. That way, someone gets a unique OHT, and I get a blank template, plus a knife for my trouble.

I'm not picky- big, little, fixed, folding, locking, slippie, SE, PE, I'll consider any offer. I hope this seems like a good deal- I can see myself being a happy supplier of pretty wood-sided SAKs to forumites, and building a modest knife collection with my work.

Box, tiny little manual, toothpick, tweezers, keyring. Email MSCantrell at gmail.com

Just to be clear, not looking for a freakin' Sebenza, you know. :) An Opinel or two, a LM Micra, a Mora... mostly I just want to get my hands on another SAK to modify. Takers?

I know plenty of people rolled their eyes when they read that the toothpick and tweezers were non-functional. I think I would have, too. But I finally managed to fix it- now both fit snugly in their proper slots, and the entire package works just as it should. See picture below.

So! Again, swap me an unmodded SAK (any kind with plastic scales) plus something else for the oak one here.

McCantrell,
I have a brand new Trekker and a Schrade Pal with a blued blade (which I did myself with lemon juice...perfect shade) or a Micra that I would be happy to trade for the custom. Nice work! BTW, how did you attach the scales? Please email me at mattthefish80@hotmail.com
Thanks,
Matt

Matt,

Sent you an email about your Pal.

Two-ton epoxy, for the record.
