Custom order arrived...........Chiruwa Sirupate "Daisho"

I like the fat mushroom pomel. Good work Tirtha.
I have a 18" Tirtha myself I sharked it dod, not the nice custom you have... but still a fav.
The heavy stuff is too slow to cut standing scrub and vines. But a 18-20" Siru is like a lightsaber to vines and standing brush.
With a good edge, just a flick of the wrist gets the job done.

how much did your 18 " cost you if you don't mind my asking ?

I didn't pay "extra" at all, I was quoted the same prices that are listed on the HI website.

This was over a year ago though and I have no idea what you would get quoted now.

.. Now that's a proper fighting Kukri! ..
Oops .. hi pal .. I use those 20" (i.e. 1st picture) and 25" (i.e. 2nd picture) Siru to fight bushes and grasses .. and both feels nicely balance and light in my hand
Thanks to Bura who built them just nice for my small built physic with relatively small hands compared to yours all there.

.. Per chance what is the weight of it Jay?
So sorry bcoz I don't have a weighing scale!
Anyhow with thickness of about 1/4" at the ricasso and distal taper profile blades so I guess their weight is about 1 lb (i.e. for the 20") and 1 1/4 lbs (i.e. for the 25")!
Hope I guess it correctly, pal :o
