CUSTOM PIZZA SLICER?!?! Take-down Pizza cutter in Titanium, Brass & AEB-L

I'd like to share this crazy custom I was asked to do a while back. A Custom Take-down Pizza cutter for a chef in Tokyo.

He wanted something robust for everyday use and had to be fully disassemble-able for easy cleaning. Here's what I came up with

Some Specs:
Blade: AEB-L High carbon stainless steel - cryo-frozen & 3x tempered to 61HRC
Handle: Tapered 6Al 4V Titanium Full tang, Brass dovetailed bolsters, Spalted & stabilized Box Elder burl.
Details: Brass fittings, 304 Hex screws, 6Al 4V Titanium arms

A little something unique from the culture I grew up with I designed these patterns based on Filipino textile motifs normally found on clothes and apparel - I don't see why not chef knives/tools?


Of course, I had to try it out before shipping it out!
