Custom Ranger Arrived Today!!!!!!!!

My Ranger Custom Bowie arrived today! Very nice knife!

9.5" Satin finished Bowie Blade made of 1/4" thick 5160 with Blue G-10 handles! Wow! Justin outdid himself on this one! Just worked with me to get the blade exactly how I wanted it! Great Service and overall fantastic experience.

Very nice nylon w/ kydex sheath! I also ordered an extra RD9 sheath since I figured the dimensions were perfect to end my quest to find a survival sheath to fit my Becker Brute. The sheath fit the Brute perfectly!

Impressive semi-custom knife from Ranger Knives! I am hooked, I may need another Ranger Knife soon!
 
Diggin the blue handles, the clip point is definatley you hahaha. Very nice I hope you enjoy your new toy
 
Now thats a knife. I love it. Thinking about putting some kind of sharp points on my RDs.
 
Like the handles, did you furnish the G-10 or did Justin supply it???

Justin supplied it. When I first emailed him about the blade, I told him all of my "desires" and after a few days of digging, he confirmed that he could make them all come true! :D
 
You all are wearing me down. I haven't bought any Ranger blades yet... but from all the feedback and the fine pix I've seen..well it's getting to me. I love the blue G-10 slabs! I bought a Dalton Tiger just because it had solid G-10 chunks in red. I love the blade. That sweet Ranger Bowie dressed up in its finest Blues is almost too much for me to bear.
Would Justin work with me on the design? I'm in the mood for a large chopper again. BIG,THICK and pretty are really all I would require in a 9-10 inch chopper. Curious? Any idea how he would react to a request like that?

I might just give Justin a call and see if he has any G-10 left. I can see it on my custom RD4, with the blade thinned out a bit to 3/16 or so. Sweet:cool:

This is my first blade with G-10 handles. I had read a lot of good things about G-10 and a while back there was a thread about favorite handle materials - almost everyone listed G-10 in the top 2. So I had to try it! I asked Justin if he could dig up either Blue or Green. He found some Blue! :D

Could you start a thread in "the gallery" for Custom Rangers?

I would like to see them, and I'm sure I'm not alone.
 
HOLY CRAPOLA! That is one nice Bowie. That G-10 makes my mouth water....
