WOW!! Thanks guys! I think I just over dosed on Recluses lol. All of those are fantastic! The green linen is really sweet, that burlap is awesome, that tapered tang model is sublime, and I absolutely love that bolstered model.

Thanks a lot guys that was a healthy feast of Fiddlebacks

Thank You Andy - Very Much Respect!

Those knives are a work of art. Knives to be proud to own, & shell vests from a bygone era, what could be better. Great shots, fantastic knives.
Be safe.

Here are much better photos of my Custom and my Bark River one. As you can see there are some subtle differences. The handle is thicker and more contoured on Andy's custom work. The Bark version has a slightly longer blade and a thinner convex grind on it. They are both great blades. I just got my custom so i have not put it through the paces. The bark river has gotten a regular dose of work out so far. In and out of the kitchen. I dont think Andy could have chosen a better company to do a run of one of his knives.:thumbup::thumbup:

I will say this. As of right now, just handling it. the Custom Recluse feels better in my hand. and the bark river feels great, so the Custom one to me just melts into my hand:thumbup:

Dude that custom is beautiful and badass all rolled into one.

WOW! I love seeing those pics. Lately I've been doing the tang shape that didn't make the cut in the production knife. There is just one slight difference at the butt. I liked the squarer one, but the other one was chosen. So that is one difference.

WOW! Just WOW

Here are some glamor shots of my just received custom Recluse from Andy :D

I need to contact Tal to get some pants made for this work of art

It was a great honor to make you that knife brother. You've been a great friend and supporter from my first works. It is certainly much appreciated!

Double liners!! and teak burl (or is that mesquite?) and a beauty mark. That knife has all that FBF has to offer. Nice blade man nice.

That is stabalized anitque Redwood burl!!! None left. Gone forever. Well, two pieces left, but spoken for. (One is for me!)

WOW!! That Recluse is breath-taking!

Was just talking to Andy and since he doesn't have anymore of the Recluses cut it may be that I get a Hiking Buddy first and then the Recluse later...which these photos could make a man regret...but I am in love with the H.B. design too and I don't see Andy stopping production of the Recluse too soon, so if I get them in reverse order it's no big deal.

Hiking buddy. Got it. No big deal on the Recluse. Its a great design, and not going to be cut from the lineup.

I think that I could have one of every model in Andy's line, no actually two, each with a different handle, and I still would want more. Is there no end to his imagination? It's like he's the Chuck Norris of knives.

Haha!! Chuck Norris loves my knives.

Hope you like the pants. Won't be many of those around! I hope that spider didn't scare you! LOL.

I was checking out the differences in the butt end of the knives. They are all stunning and both styles have pleasing lines as would be expected from Fiddleback Forge, but I think I like the square butt a little better for some reason. I can't really say how long I have stared at that green linen model at times.

I love the sheath you made for the Bushfinger, I love how I can take it off my belt discretely when I have to run in somewhere I'd rather not have a knife on my side...like the courthouse or permit office....but can have it back on my belt in a couple of seconds as soon as I get back to the truck.

Good day to you all.
I have my Fiddleback Recluse for a while now and it is one of my favorite knives.
Here are a few pictures from last weeks outing.

I used the Recluse to Baton through a thick branch and while sitting quietly in the forest, whittled a simple Woodspirit.

Because I am enjoying the Recluse so much I wanted another Fiddleback.
Very pleased to tell you that a Bushcraft Karda in Bocote with a scandigrind has been added to the family.
Pictures will follow soon.
