This was commissioned for me last month and it has found it's way into my slip almost every day since. Beautifully worked stag create a a great palm swell which feels natural in hand and use. Fluted bolster and a lanyard hole round off a fantastic cutter Pull is about a 5-6, good walk and talk, centered and flush. I will say that the half stop isn't as tight as I would like, but I like my slipjoint like bear traps...just giving full disclosure.
I had Rihidan grind this fairly thing behind the edge for a fantastic slicer. The Patina is from Strawberries, and it will buff out if that's your thing, I think it looks great and will further prevent red rust. Only flaw is slight scratch on the presentation side of the blade near the tip.
I paid $460 USD for this New, so you are getting a helluva deal at $old
