The knife shows light wear on the blade, and bolsters have small dings from use, the blade has light scratching from use, and from being pushed against the file worked liners. The blade is slightly off center to the back of the handle(holding like a right hander), but doesn't touch. Despite the wear the knife is in fine working condition. It is the only mammoth ivory I have ever had, but I think it looks very nice and has good character. I am not sure of the blade steel, but I believe it is 154cm, or ats34. The liners, and blade are fully file worked.
