Another brand new 'Custom Ruana 11~A Sticker' knife I have just recieved from the Ruana Knife Works Shop in Bonner, Montana has got to go for sale. This Knife is a nice little sheath knife made the same way, in the same custom shop for the last 60 + years. These knives are getting harder and harder to get, and like the Randall Shop, now have a back log that can frustrate the most patient of us knife~knuts. Some models have an over 2 + year back log waiting list. Last I heard, the 11~A Sticker was only a 6 to 8 month wait. Although it may be more at this time.
Knife Specifications: The model 11~A has a 4 inch blade, 1/8 inch stock of high carbon steel that is hammer forged, individually oil quenched, and differentually heat treated. The handle is a poured molten aluminum cast directly onto the tang and then fitted with beautiful dovetailed Elk Stag Scales. These knives are amazingly strong, like no other process I have ever seen!
Sheath or Scabbard: Natural Tanned Leather, sewn with 7~ply harness thread, and brass nailed at the Ruana Knife Works Shop.
