Anyone had any experiance with the custom scales from Custom Scales Division in Germany ?
I have the Wiikins Grip in translucent and it is absolutely a different knife worth every penny, and thats alot of pennies!
I saw the CSD scales and they are really hot as well. If anyone has any info
I would appreciate it.
I,ll post pics soon.

I have contacted Luke at Custom Scales Division and will try a set of his cocobolo scales for the Mini Grip, aka "Reptilian". I have also recently purchased a custom Damascus blade for it. I will post a pic when I get it assembled. This is the Reptilian from Luke's site:

Grand Leavitt (Snakeriverknives) makes them and sells them on Ebay. He may have more besides this one that is still available:

Mini Grip with twist damascus blade. I think I will add the four ridges on the thumb ramp and polish the sliding parts to make it as smooth operating as the original blade. I will do that when I take it apart again to install the cocobolo scales that I haven't received yet.

hey , bones
that is sweet!
so did it drop right in or did you have to fit it?
also what ya give for it?

It drops right in but the cam part needs polishing on the edge because the twist damascus has ridges and it doesn't operate silky smooth like the original blade. it was $55.

Nice ! I'm trying to find a good deal on a used Full size .
Already spent the bucks to have the Rittter blade w/the Wilkinsgrip.
dont want spend much, just for the frame.I Plan on one of these blades with the Black Mamba Scales

WOW! The carbon fiber handles for the mini-grip (pic below) are gorgeous. I'm going to definitely try some of those. The Cocobolo looks great as well - the problem I've had with cocobolo is that it's beautiful when new but the more you handle it the darker it gets - eventually turning to an almost shiny black.

Never used one of Mr Leavitt's folder blades but have bought several of his smaller fixed blades and put handles on them and given them as gifts. He makes a very nice blade that hold it's edge quite well.
