Recommendation? Custom Scales

He seemed pretty adamant about only making scales for the knives HE owns. I just don't get it. Lol.

That makes no sense... You're offering a custom service for custom scales but you only make them based of your personal collection? Everybody has different knives so why limit it to what you want/own.

I'd make em but I'm so swamped right now it's not even funny lol

I bet it's those PVD orders. I still have to send a few items in for some work one day.

I've ordered from Suingab, or g10it twice now and he's great! I think the deal with only knives he owns is he doesn't want to risk messing up a part of someone else's knife while getting it right. I assume disassembly is always a risk, stripping screws, cracking materials etc. Not sure if there are any risks while measuring and duplicating.

We do lots of scales and usually buy a knife that is required to make the scales if we don't have it here at the shop. Some knives aren't a popular choice so we don't program them up until we get multiple inquiry's.
