Custom Sheaths for fixed blades?

Hey all,

I'm just wondering if anybody knows of anybody who makes custom leather (or even other material) sheaths in/around the "Metro Vancouver" area of BC?

OR...

If you make custom sheaths, is it necessary for you to have the knife that it's for, there with you or if it's a 'popular' knife, can you make a sheath if you're simply told the type of the knife it's for?

Reason I'm asking is because I get a lot of customers coming in asking if we carry extra sheaths for fixed blades, and that's one thing that we don't actually carry. When asked if I know anywhere that would make one, I unfortunately don't have a clue, right now.

Anybody who makes sheaths & lives in the lower mainland, please shoot me an email through my profile...

Anybody who makes sheaths & lives elsewhere but feels they can make one for a knife without actually having the knife itself there, can also email if they like :)

I'd like (if applicable) a business name, and/or your name, an email addy and/or phone number, basically an electronic business card I suppose... so that I can in the future, say to my customers "Yes, I do know where you can get a sheath made" and then pass the info along.

Thanks
Tami

I LOVE on/Scene Tactical's work. Eric makes his out of Kydex. You can check his site to see if he has the knife that you want a sheath for.

Maybe Jersey's own Ken Collucci can help you. I know he makes leather sheaths when he's not fighting fires. His user name is Ken C. here.

Ditto about Eric. I received from him today a kydex belt sheath for a Fallkniven F1. From order to receipt (in the US) was about 6 days. Its not spendy, and is A+ in every way.

That link is to the front page of his website. Somewhere on the site is a list of knives he can make sheaths for (without you sending in the knife). But I do not see a link to it from his homepage.

Its there somewhere.

Edit: here it is >>> link.

Also check out JRE Industries or Sharpshooter sheath systems. I have sheaths from both and they are very nice.
