Custom Shop 112

OKayyyyy. I bit.

My normal belt knife is a CS 112FG, brass, oak, pins, 420HC, & engraved. I bought it for my 20th work anniversary as I really wanted it and no one took the hint. ;) I really enjoy it, every day.

So, after thinking about it for years, and the enabling in this thread, I ordered a 112FG, nickle silver, elk, pins, polished 420HC, with the classic BUCK black leather sheath.

Should arrive around Thanksgiving, so maybe this will be to celebrate my blessings.

A buncha enablers here! ;)
sounds like a good one, picks wise. post pics when ya get it for us. thanks.

Nooooo! I knew I should have ordered that 113 in S30V and Buckeye when I had the chance, but I kept procrastinating. :(

Buckeye Burl is still available as a handle option on fixed blades and smaller folders -- just doesn't appear in the list of options for either the 110 or the 112 at the moment.

While I'm at it, here's my CS 112 from earlier this year...

I’m not seeing it as an option for the 113 anymore (unless I’m missing something). :(

Buck offers a factory one on the web site and absolutely offers it in SFO's and somewhere in Post Falls IS a few boxes of blades..They DO EXIST lol..But Buck has never ever offered one in any version of the Custom shop over the years that I am aware of..

Of course they have those blades. Plus all the goodies over the years stored away from the beginnings of the company.

Maybe the box of blades you mention made their way into the small batch of 112s Copper and Clad is talking about. makes sense and timing is right.

The only drop point 112 C&C knives I recall have been 5160.
In fact they sold out of one in the last day.
C&C (Shephard Hills) offered a drop point 112 in 420HC with rosewood inlays. 0112RWSSH-B. Mine is dated 11/12/2019. It's pretty sweet.

When they sent the email about the 5160 112, DP with oak, I went to their site. I found they had one 112 charcoal, DP with 5160 left. It's on it's way to me.
I have tried to buy one before but they were gone. I'm happy about this purchase 😁

I‘ve had a 112 in and out of the custom build page so many times that I finally just said screw it, I’m going for it. Nickel silver everything with a polished blade, finger grooves and walnut. Hopefully they choose some nice color and grain for me.

At this juncture I'd like to admit that I have never acquired a Custom Shop Buck
Me either, tho I do have a couple SK Blades 110 SFO's, a C&C 110 SFO, and a August, '20 Web Special 110.
We're those made by the Custom Shop? I don't know.

I don't think there is a dedicated custom shop, per se, as there use to be. It's my understanding that they are assembled and finished on the regular production line, with the specified options as ordered.

I've been wrong several times here recently so let's see what some others say about this.

I would assume so! Just like the other nice exclusives for other vendors.
