I'd be surprised if it wasn't Dymalux Cherrywood since it's not an upcharge, I know you mentioned something about that in the other thread. But still, that would be sweet!

I have a couple of 55 . I thought they would be alright but they are a bit small for me. I also had a bad near miss with one that got away from my grip and stabbed my inner thigh. I haven’t used it much since then. The 501 is about the smallest size that’s useful to me and even then for short periods of time. My fingers and hands get fatigue and cramp up after about 5 minutes.

If I hadn't just gotten the 111, I'd probably order one. As it is, they're in the CS, so I can procrastinate for a while.
 
That is a nice, classic pick for them. I'm not a huge 55 fan though, great knife, but just sort of "in between" for me. Smaller than I want to belt carry while being a bit larger than I want for pocket carry.

There are some nice options I have been playing with on their site though...........
 
I love the 55 but would only go to the custom shop if I could get non curved bolsters so it truly looks like a miniature 110, or if I could get it in a carbon steel.
Otherwise I like the standard 55.
 
Well.... I don't carry the one I have very much, but that Palm Wood..... That's shoving me to the edge...
I've got a 112 in my mind too, still trying to decide if I want to push the button .....
Might need a second job!

That's like "The Gambia" or "The Ohio State University." But yeah, Buck doesn't seem to be certain as to what to call it. Sometimes it's the "055," sometimes the "55," and sometimes "The 55." 😁

Also, I maintain that it is not "one-half the size of a 110." It is one-eighth the size! (One-half in each of three dimensions, 2^3 = 8. 🤔)
