This one was requested by someone who wanted a blade that looked like a custom shop AD Variant with a swedge. I took the liberty to mod the handle also. I felt that the original handles looked a little big and bulky for the new look of the blade. I hope he doesn't mind. I can always keep it and redo another if he doesn't like this one ;)

Yeah I guess I am a little off these days. Sorry to disappoint ;)
 
Wow, that looks way better than I'd even hoped Ban and the handles are a big improvement. Great work! Can't wait to get my hands on it.
 
Beautiful work! :thumbup: I don't know if I like the swayback so much, but the clip w/swedge and the slimmer handle are great. What is the blade thickness? Was this one of those 'fat' Company Store ADs?
 
I think there is a mix up, I had emailed Ban on another issue and I ended up with this AD :eek: Not really, but what a great job! :thumbup: :thumbup:

WOW...Very impressive. Much more practical looking design now that it is thinner and a bit more refined. It was more of a somewhat sharpened mini prybar before...not much good for any food prep or skinning/caping work.

I am sure my bro will be counting the hours until it returns.

This one started out as a Sage/Blk Companystore Active Duty. I did not mic it before I worked on it but I am pretty sure it was the standard .19-.20 and not a fatty. I did not realize that the Companystore had fatty ADs.

This one now mics out at .180 at the ricasso.

I ones I do for myself come out to play all the time :thumbup:

Especially the FABM and Anorexic BIBB which gets the most use and fondle time ;)
 
ban, you have been doing some sweet mods!!!! i think the FBM mod is an amazing idea.

oh, i'm still working on getting a blade to send to ya...
