Anyone else notice that the custom shop site is no longer showing damascus as an option for the 110? :(
 
If you want Damascus you might have to make a phone call directly.
 
I seem to recall there was feeding frenzy on them about a week ago. morestag's tip to call direct may be warranted. For 2006 & 2007 there was no Dam on the site. I called and got one each year.

I wish I liked the Alpha fixed. Then I would have to find some way to justify the coin for a Custom Shop Damascus one...w/ smooth buff :thumbup:

Woah! I can understand the Damascus selling out, but 154CM as well!? I would have thought that the S30V would go first. I guess that there is a whole lotta people buying Custom 110 knives now.

I spoke to Pete in the custom shop about the availability of damascus and he said that he looked and found they only had one blank left when all the orders came in. He said they were going to get more in so I told him to simply keep my order and let me know when it will ship whenever that happens to be. (I'm really not in any hurry)
 
I should have gotten my order in with 154CM...

I guess I can try to be patient :D LOL
 
I suck as well,i had some things to get done around the house and after going to the wharf to clean the lobster boat ,I was coming home to order some customs.........one of the blade choices is gone,gonna be 2 s30 v blades but what should i go with for handles?

Sambar Stag and Elk Horn are two of my favorites, followed closely by Koa Flamewood. The last one that I just ordered is Ram's Horn, which I think will look great.

So, does that mean that we are "back ordered" or that they have enough for the orders that came in during the "gold rush" of 2008?

Back ordered, but I would give him a call and let him know whether or not you want to keep your order. He asked me and I told him I was in no hurry and that when the new blanks came in simply make the knife and let me know. He said that was fine.
 
I ordered a damascus 110 on line on May 31, and got an email from Pete stating it would be 4-5 weeks. Cool with me, I'll wait, no hurry, no problem :cool:
 
:cool:...If I received what I had ordered in a week I'm afraid I would be real worried...Take all the time ya need guys...( and / or gals...:p )...Build it to last...:thumbup:

If the custom shop could deliver in a week, that would be dangerous to my pocket book. Tornado sirens are going off right now, better keep my eye to the sky!
