Up for sale here are two items I had Garth modify for me. They are great knives, I just have a tax lien against my paychecks that caps me at the poverty line and it's making it impossible to save any money for an upcoming move to Tucson. I need to sell or downsize, cause I can't move on a quarter tank of gas and a wallet full of dead moths :(

Custom shop handled KZII w/ghetto sheath -$635 SOLD
Custom shop modified SAR5 w/ghetto sheath - $350

I prefer paypal (no extra fee's), and I only ship within the united states. These will be shipped via FedEx ground.

Only trades I would consider: for the KZII I'd only be interested in a NMFBM (any variety, any shape) +75$. I would also take a ttkz straight across. I need the money more then I need another knife, so the trade value is set accordingly. These are not priced on being mint (they are both in user condition), they are priced on rarity (one off variations).

The kzII (kz2, killa zilla 2) (32oz) has had 2 things done to it. I sent it to garth to have the rear palm swell removed because I found that it hit my wrist when swinging it. He satined the edge of the handle from the top guard down around the guard and into the choil. I then brought the edge down to a 24 degree per side primary edge bevel from ricasso to tip, with an 18 degree relief grind. I did several bevels to round out the tip so that I could get the 24 degree bevel on it without having it be an inch tall, and then polished the ridges down by hand so that it's a smooth convex down to the flat 24 bevel. This has been used and does have flattening of the coating from use and sheathing.

The sheath is super ghetto, but gets the job done. The tekloc belt look is kind of a joke, since this is way to heavy to be worn on a belt, but I figured I'd put it on there for looks :p. This was formed to a ttkz and then reformed to this, so I redrilled holes to make it smaller. the shiny parts are from a lighter. It has nuts and bolts so you can disassemble it and clean out grit.

The custom sar5 (7.3oz) was sent in to have the primary grind raised up so that a guard could be fashioned. I also requested that the handle profile be modified to match my hand, the center of the finger swell to be between my middle and ring finger, and the center of the palm swell to be at the center of my palm. It looked awesome, but anyone who has handled the sar5 will know that the handle slabs are fashioned in a way that forces you hand to be a half inch back from the ricasso, if you choke all the way up you don't have any slab to grab onto. So I removed them and put these on. I also removed the last 1/2" of the pommell to get it into a more neutral balance, as it was very handle heavy before. I used a hack saw and cold water, and then a belt sander with dips in cold water once every 1 second or light pass. It took a long time, but I'm positive I didn't heat it up past 200 degree's at any point, and the temper is in danger at 900 so it should be just fine. The important thing is that everything from the third tang hole all the way to the tip is exactly as I got it from garth - if anything on the blade/tang fails it is still as it came from the shop, under warranty. I stripped the blade but not the area under the tang, you can't see it there but I wanted to keep it coated to avoid possible rust. I made the new scales out of 1/4" thick black canvas micarta (the same greenish hue that busse's black canvas has) and put them on with machine screws and stainless steel stand offs.

The sheath looks ghetto but is functional, it's drainage is on the very bottom of the sheath where there is a gap where the kydex roles over the spine. It has a small tekloc belt loop.

It's a cool knife because the edge is consistent in thickness from ricasso to tip. I applied a 24 degree per side bevel and it remained pretty small all the way across.
