Beautiful, custom shop nuked FMV6. Handle is black micarta and cholla wood cross sections embedded in bright emerald green resin with gorgeous fancy schmancy brass, copper and stainless steel mosaic pins.
Very sharp. I cut myself on it and for a few minutes, I thought I was going to bleed to death.
This comes with a Pirtle FMV8 leather sheath with steel mesh inlay and leg rig. The sheath is absolutely gorgeous and very sturdy (Of course, all of Chad Pirtle’s sheaths are masterpieces). There may be some cat hair stuck here and there to the Velcro on the leg rig as we do have cats, and there is some tarnish on the screws in the retention snap. Yes, I know that the knife is an FMV6 and the sheath/rig is for an FMV8, but the knife fits perfectly into the sheath except, of course, for the length.
Buy the fancy, pretty FMV6 for your wife/girlfriend/significant other, (so she won’t complain about you spending money on knives for yourself) and keep the sheath for your FMV8.
