Hey guys I have been looking at the Custom Shop at Buck at 110 but have not been too sure on what to get. What do you guys think is the best things to get on the 110 for $150 or less. I value any opinions. Thanks!

I just ordered one with S30v, ram horn handles and nickel silver bolsters with an engraved rear bolster.

Came in at $147 or so.

Wow that sounds sweet. Im am gonna get the S30V. If your getting custom you might as well buy the premium steel.

Yeah exactly and its not like it adds on that a much cost. I was originally gonna go for sambar stag but i realized I liked the ram horn better.

I think I got wrapped up in the sambar reputation for awhile and didn't focus on what look i liked better.

If you don't like the way the slabs look, say for the ram, can you send it back to get different looking piece, or are you stuck with it?

Love Stag, but Rams Horn? Mmmmm.. MM! Love the Rams Horn. Mine is just so rich and thick in color. I'd like to find some nice slabs for my .45 1911 to match.

Here's two Ram horns I got for xmas from my son and his wife... One a year... Love them...

110 F/G S30V Ram...

110 S30V Ram... 2

Both...

:)

They both look sweet! The top one looks a little richer in color and stands out more. I really like the antler slabs, like to Ram or Elk. Sambar is a little out of my budget zone.

indigo royal blue scales with s30v blade, nickel bolsters, that would be a sweet knife!

Sounds exactly like mine other than the partial serrations and finger grooves. Love this knife!

Either Ram or Elk will hold up well and serve you for years, go with whichever one you think looks better.

Here's one I got last xmas... It's a 110 F/G with KOA wood handles with a S30V blade... Just SWEET all the way...

110...

:)

What do you think looks better with those kind of grips, the brass or nickel?

With elk or ram?

I think they both look stunning. I went with nickel to contrast the yellow undertone of the rams horn and because I have a modern flipper with brass overlays already.

They both look great, go with your gut.
