Custom Shoppe 110

Are the wood at Buck worth it at all? Like the Oak or Walnut, or are they similar to the Dymondwood on regular 110's?

Oak and walnut are pretty run of the mill and their price reflects that. I'm not a fan of wood handles and if you're looking for something special I would go with the elk or ram.

i was thinking of the wood for my little brother. He is not huge into knives and I don't want to buy something super nice if he would only use it sometimes.

I've seen a few of the Koa and Fuji on this forum that look pretty sweet.

Yea I wish they offered more blade and handle materials. I'd like to see some more high quality wood offered and different types of steel. Not to much variety offered for 110 blades.

I have BG-42 in Sambar, Elk, Koa, Buffalo and Ram, all of which are to die for. That said, the custom that I both like and use the most is American Oak on Brass with rivets. The brass compliments the warmth of the oak perfectly.

Edit - Usless without pics.
