Brad Southard Prototype and Shirogorov Custom Knives
1. Brad Southard Custom frame-lock prototype folding knife. It has green G-10 scales/backspacer with a copper pivot collar. Lock side also has a pivot collar and is stonewashed Titanium. The blade has a fantastic hand-rubbed satin finish and glides open effortlessly riding on bearings. Knife has been carried, though I was reluctant to use it. Couple small light scratches on blade/backspacer and the centering favors the show side in my opinion. Brad can easily correct. Blade is 3.5 inches. This is a great EDC and is a one of a kind Southard custom knife. Price: $1765
2. Shirogorov Hati. I bought this new from a fellow BF member who said he purchased it at a knife show several years ago. At that time, only two people worked in the Shirogorov shop and the knives were customs. This is a custom Hati, it is not one of the mid-techs, yet I am pricing it like one because I can't prove it. It has carbon fiber scale with a titanium back spacer. Very strong detent and the blade flies open with authority. Has been carried, but barely used. This knife has a stonewashed finish and washers.
