OK Guys,

A lot of you have purchased strops from me and i really appreciate the support. See link if you don't know what I mean

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=623502

My question is:

What changes or different type of wood or style would you like to see.

I think the next batch will be Purpleheart but i am not real creative and am looking for ideas that I can reasonably implement.

hello sir:)

i am loving the strop i got from you:thumbup:

one thing that would be cool that i thought of after using it for awhile would be another strip of leather on the other side for a different compound or to leave "un-charged" for fine finishing....

or a hole drilled in the handle for hanging or threading a lanyard through:D

EVERYONE READING THIS SHOULD BUY ONE OF THESE STROPS:thumbup:

Fitz....thanks.

I actually do double sided strops on request for a few bucks more. The lanyard hole idea is really good. I will figure that out and make it available.

I also agree everybody should buy one :)

I have one of your strops and I use it every day. I have many one to two inch blades. This being said I try to use both sides of the strop. Maybe a run of new ones with a shorter handle on both ends so as to utilize both sides with equal purchase? Or something like that... Did that make sense???? ~baba~

I guess I never thought of it that way. I use both hands and when I switch to the other side of the strop it gets utilized and overall it gets even wear.

I haven't bought one from you yet, but I plan to in the near future. I was going to email you about a question I had, but I'll just ask here.

How about a dual sided strop? Is it possible for you to put leather on both sides. The purpose of this would be to allow for the use of different compounds. Some knife owners...myself included, like to strop in stages, working down to a very low micron polish. I get tired of constantly cleaning the compound off the strop. Maybe I'm being lazy, maybe I just want a dual sided strop!! Let us know if this is feasable.

Thanks in advance,
-Michael

Yes,

I can make double sided strops. They cost a little bit more than single sided but I will make double sided on request.
