I am looking for someone to make a custom sword. It will be used as the first place trophy for the World Freeride Championship - an event I put on each year in Alaska.
I am looking for something with a 30+" blade - and something mean looking. It doesn't need to have the fit and finish of a full custom - but it would be cool to have some wicked grinds - and have it sharp.
For the person who wins the sword - it will be a world champions prize - and will most likely wind up on the mantel of some super famous pro snowboarder.
It will also be photographed by worldwide publications and will get a lot of attention in the wintersports world.
In the past I have bought off the shelf items and had them engraved. I think it is time to step up the game.
I have a budget of around $500. The event happens in the beginning of April.
