Custom Tomahawk

I'd love a custom tomahawk head forged up and I figure one of you guys can do it. I'm a little iffy as to who though. Ideally I want something similar to this: a little more hook to the cutting edge would be better (i photochopped a pic but cant post it yet)

ideally i want a user w.out all the fancyness ;) hammer marks, I dont care, doesn't have to be pretty. i just like the shape and the spike on this one.

anyone know who can make me one out of decent steel like 1080 or 5160 for a decent price?

hell, just the head alone would be great, I can handle it myself. I'm lookin for a lower price alternative to the ones that almost look like they should be in a case forever. ;)

any makers you can recommend that will do a "budget user hawk head?"

hahaha. thats great! now if you only made one like that for those of us who arent gnome sized. ;)

youve got some great looking hawks on your site man! any chance I can get some prices? like i mentioned, i really just want a utilitarian hawk, plain handle is fine, no need to fancy it up - its gonna get used hard. ;)

I hope to be making some hawks soon. There something I like to make but I need to feel the urge before I can make them. I'm about due since its been almost a year since I've made any. Check back with me in a month or so.

I watched Ray forge a hawk at Blade Show West demonstation a few years back. I've also seen a few of his hawks finished out. You won't find a better hawk for the money! He's a first class, top rate guy.

You should give Bruce Evans a shot at it. He has a video out and is quite good at hawks. He will work with you on your shape too.
 
Raymond Richards or Bruce Evans would be the ones I would suggest. The hawk pictured is one that I made. I have it pictured in my website galley.
