If you want an affordable custom made version of a production knife, consider the venerable Buck 110. The Buck Custom Shop will make your 110 the way you want it. The lefthand four below are examples. L-R, the first three are BG-42 blades - the fourth is a teardrop Damascus. Scales range from G10/Micarta to orange Fiji wood to flaming Koa to fg-ed/jigged water buffalo. I like nickel-silver bolsters, too. How to take a boringly common American Classic and turn it into something neat.
