Custom USM8 bayonet, a distant relative of mine who worked at a machine shop did this work in the late 60s-70s roughly, I just remember it thrown in with all the camping gear as a kid but no one ever used it, so no attachment. The bayonet lug was removed and clear polycarbonate with alternating aluminum rings make up the handle, also machined guard and buttcap. Knife has some natural patina as does the sheath but just think where it's been in its life. Knife could stand to be sharpened.
