I can definitely recommend Pete Carey's work as well, I think that is a great one to look at.

If you can find one, I think the Carson small Model 21 is probably the best sub-3 inch blade wharncliffe folder with no belly in the blade that I've ever used.

The Carson 21 looks similar to the Mike Obenauf, but with not belly at all. Very nice. I heard Kit's waiting list is long though.

Kit doesn't take orders at all, but if you catch him at a show, you might find one there. They do pop up from time to time on the secondary market as well.

Pete's wait list is about 6 months long, which is about as short as it gets for a custom folder maker.

That's what I was afraid of. I never really get a chance to go to many shows.
