Usually I make custom grips for 1911's

and work with old wood like this M1 Garand.

Then I bought an Izula and thought some custom grips would turn a great knife into something a little more personal. (Also with the availability of ammo, I'm spending more time in my wood shop then at the range).

I'd appreciate your feedback :

That cocobolo is amazing looking. Wasn't really looking for an Izula but if I could get that on it, I might have to get one now.

VERY nice work.

I like the cocobolo that still has the finger hole.

All nice quality scales, love the woods grains, love the design on the first one right under the rifle, very nice. Are those brass fittings?

everything looks great. but my eyes really got stuck on the Cocobolo and I'm trying to imagine it on a OD izula... *drooling*

Wow, I expected one set of handles! I love all the different types you did. The extended is cool, but I think I'd miss the hole not being there.
