Custom work for your Spyderco

YES to both jobs, sorry i'm running behind tonite on my mail.
I stupidly took the evening off to hunt again.
Stuck a carbon fiber rocket ship Terminator arrow through a nice 6 point about dusk, after an hr wait and a long wet tracking job we finally got him to my 4x4 whew i'm gettin too old for that :-)......anyway mail me and i'll take care of both jobs . Thanks Ron

NGK i'd suggest the stippling effect for the SS scales, a carbide tipped spring punch will give very uniform results.
1st we could buff 90% of all the scratches out.
Then do a grid pattern which IMO would increase the grip as well as hide the bad places we can't buff out.
The SS used isn't very hard to work with.
Grip tape is another option to consider, bear in mind it will eventually wear off.
But it can be cut to any shape to hide deep gouges.
I'm sure we can work out exactly what you want done. Thanks Ron

I don't like the idea of tape on the knife at all. The scratches on mine are not bad and come out with some SS buffing pads I use on SS guns quite nicely, but I find myself not carrying the knife because I don't like it all scratched up so the solution would to be do something about it, your stipling pattern would do nice I think, maybe a little closer together than what I saw in the picture. Email me walker2@newgraham.com and we'll work it out!

Ted i didn't get to check my voice mail till late in the day, I'll return your'e call mid morning Saturday. Thanks Ron

Spent most of the day guys moving tools into my new shop.
Now if i could get some decent pics on my web page.
Ron can't take pics grrrrrr

Now I'm a proud & happy customer--my Native 2 now sports no sharp edges on its handle, a radiused thumb hole, a Boye dent, and a stippled frame, all for an extremely reasonable price and VERY fast turnaround. Two more of my knives (not Spydercos) will soon be headed to Ron to make them as perfect for carry as my Native 2 has become.

Calyth, I sure do :) I'm assuming you mean the entire SS handle?
I have done about 35 so far and I'm gettin decent at it.
In fact I much prefer doing the entire scale as opposed to just the clip.
Let me know which model you want done via e-mail and I'll give you the best price around.
Thanks Justin for the nice comments, I try to treat every knife as if it were my own and I know how bad I hate to wait so if possible I turn them around as fast as I can and still do a quality job. Ron

De nada, Ron. I'm fairly hard to impress, as anyone who's read my posts could attest. I believe in praise when it's earned, & you more than did that. If I weren't just a basic member, I'd post the pics you sent, but will e-mail 'em on request.
