Hey guys, first off, I am new to the forum, so if this is in the wrong area, or against the rules, I apologize.
My dad was a marine in the early 90s (hes currently army) doing some counter drug stuff along the Mexican boarder, and he tore this cold steel recon all to crap.
I asked him since the age of like 5 why he didn't sent it back the manufacture to get fixed... oh well.
Anyways, he said I could have it, so I am wondering if any custom blade smiths could reprofile the edges and breath some new life into this little knife. I am thinking of having it reprofiled to a bowie, or maybe just a proper tanto again. I guess it depends on who i talk to.
