Customer Blade Forums multi-tool...?

Has anyone heard anymore about the guy who was (about a week ago) discussing the bladeforums custome multi-tool concept? I was very interested and have been out of the loop the last week or so and am wondering if anyone else rememebered who it was and if anything has come of it...
