I saw a customer yesterday, that got a 4 1/2" blade drop point hunter from me awhile back. He is a ranch hand on a Red deer ranch, and one of his job is to skin and gut out all the animals that are killed there.
He told me that he had skinned and gutted 3 stags and 1 wild boar with that knife. He handed me the knife to inspect, and to my delite, with one swipe down my arm, it shaved clean, a path 1" wide and apro 4" long. Said that had not tried to sharpen it because it never needed it.
He ordered 2 more knives from me.
Needless to say that sure made me feel good.
