Back in the early 90's I worked in this one power plant in Scottsdale and there was an operator there who the guys called Cy [short for Cyclops]. After getting to know Cy, I asked him about the missing eye and he said, "remember when you were a kid and wanted a BB gun and your parents warned you about not shooting out your eye? Well I never got the memo".
