I thought I would give a shout out to a few company's that have went above and beyond and another that failed to reach expected service. First up you know I'm building a press so lots of parts from a hand full of places where ordered. I did the bulk of my ordering from surplus center and as soon as I clicked pay I realised I forgot to include a pressure release valve. I figured I would just order it on a separate order but shipping was like $15 for that. So I'm the middle of the night I called them it was like 3:30 in the morning. I figured I would leave a message. Hot damn someone picked up. She said she could not change it becaus she just mans the phones during the night. But she took a message for me and low and behold she got it done when thy opened in the morning. This big order will be delivered Monday. I am more then impressed with there service and how thy handled my order.

Next up is eBay. I ordered a solonoide valve off eBay and got it for a great price considering it was only missing 3 orings on the base ports. I ordered it on Sunday and low and behold it was on my hand wensday morning. This seller really delivered in the speed department.

I then contacted the manufacture of the valve which is ARGO HYTOS. I found there contact page on there website and filled out the required info. I asked if thy knew the size or part members for the missing orings. I got a auto responce saying she was away from the computer till X date. I figured it was a dead end. Then the next day I get an email from them from the parts department asking for my address becaus thy are going to send them to me for free. I guess my email was sent to Patrick Green who is the Vice President and he told the parts department to hook me up becaus he wants me to be happy and not have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get the parts. This is outstanding customer service which is rarely found any more. So I highly recommended if your needing something that thy manufacture to get it, top notch.

The last company I am less then happy with. It happens to be Northern Toon. I am soooooo glad I went with surplus center and not them for the bulk of my press parts. All I needed was a subplate for my solonoide valve. Thy had it listed on eBay as well as there website. I bought it through there eBay store. Days went by with out so much as a blip on when it was shipping. I ordered this at the same time as all the other stuff. I finely contacted them and there responce was sorry your order is processing and tracking will be available shortly. I'm thinking shortly is some time later that day. Nope UPS did not get it till 2 days later in the afternoon. Tracking said I would get it not this next week but the week after that. I was not a happy camper, it's now bumped to be delivered on the 26th. That's 13days after I ordered it. I looked at there eBay reviews and it's horrible. Thy have 21 negative reviews just this month and 90% of them are related to shipping taking way to long. Or orders being sold when there is no stock for that item. So if your needing something from them I would look at surplus center first as thy are a much better company to deal with.
