I haven't had to contact their CS in a while, but last time I did it was because I stripped the pivot of my blur  . You believe they had the nerve to send me a whole set of screws for the blur and some catalogs, for free? I've also had clip screws sent for a RAM a while back a believe, and have received catalogs at least 3 times, never once spending a dime of my own, all at the company's expense. That can't be good business practices.

:D

I haven't stopped by this place in forever, just wanted to let you guys know I'm still alive and kicking. Thomas, tell CS to keep up the good work

My first ZT knife is in the mail. It's good to hear that Kershaw lets you fix knives yourself, saving you on shipping and downtime.

I've had similar experiences. This is a big part of why I try to buy Kershaws; I don't think a lot of people realize how much their customer service is worth. It's like those insurance plans that electronics stores try to sell you, except it never expires, it's actually worth something, and you don't have to pay much more vs. comparable products for it.

I was pleasantly surprised when I requested a screw for my Storm's pocket clip, and instead received two screws and a new clip. Phenomenal customer service.

I'm a new Kershaw owner. I've not ever owned one before this past weekend. It's really good to hear they have great customer service, and stand behind their products. It sure makes me want to buy more of them!!

Post back again when you have like 40 of them! lol

I have used the awesome Kershaw cs a few times, and it is great. Between my dad, brother and me they replaced 2 knives, and sent me parts 4 different times now. That is part of the reason I have 20 kershaws and just got my first ZT a few weeks ago, and have now ordered a total of 3 ZT's.

You can't beat the quality of service, especially the part that lets knife nuts take their knives apart and do their own maintainance and repairs.

The policy of some companies in this industry of voiding a warranty if the owner disassembles the knife always seemed silly to me.

Sent in my Salvo because it was sticking on the frame-lock bearing making the first mm of deployment difficult/painful. Received back in same condition as sent: normal design flaw? I guess I will need to file thumbstud ridges down so I don't tear a thumbstud size hole in my thumb again.
Also sent in Junk Yard dog due to a mushy liner-lock. Received back in same condition as sent: normal characteristic for this knife? Strike two.:(
My s30v Blur blem (2nd hand) had a gritty sound from pivot area (not rust/dirt), pivot screw loosened with multiple openings, blade off center with minor contact with frame. I think they took it apart or worked on it because it came back with a black substance on the blade (came off fairly easy). Received back in same condition as sent. Strike 3.:(
Hmmm? I guess Kershaw CS had an off-day. Maybe I pissed off my knife repair guy because I sent in three value blades at once? They did not send a return invoice with any repair comments, so I am not really sure what they did.

Hey, you gotta start somewhere, and after seeing BFnewbies awesome list of Kershaws past and present, 40 is just a fart in the wind! :D

You're are right about BFnewbies' accumulation of Kershaws....he's not playing.

Another new Kershaw owner here, I've had mostly Case knives for years. I just received a new Leek and Skyline and I am impressed at the value for the money. I have two more incoming, a Zing and a Salvo and I have a feeling there will be more in the future.

Affordable and made in the US, I love it

Good knives, affordable price, made in America, and great CS. What more can you ask for?

Took my ZT302 apart with a Leatherman and scratched my bolt. Called to buy a new one and they sent the bolt and PB washer to me for free. Best CS I have experienced.

I just got a ZT0350 a little over a month ago and while there have been no problems it is nice to hear about a company's CS.

Just one of the many reasons I love Kershaw. I've only had to deal with their CS twice and both times they were nothing but the best. They even sent me two torsion bars for one of my knives just as a spare.
