I have to publicly thank Jay and Karen of Arizona Custom Knives. I saw a Darrel Ralph slotted CF Apogee on their site on Sunday, so I called and left them a message and told them I was interested. Jay called me first thing Monday morning and made my day by telling me it was still available. I ordered it and he said it would be on the way that day. Well, I was working at home today and the mailman brought me a package at 3:30, and I am now the PROUD owner of a Darrel Ralph slotted carbon fiber small Apogee.

From order to total exicitement in 55 & 1/2 hours. That's what I call service.

Kudos to Jay and Karen Sadow.

As for the knife itself this is one rock solid workhorse that will last many lifetimes and it is sweeeeeeeet. Darrel is truly a master craftsman. Most of you guys have heard this before but I just wanted to show my excitement.

Might want to repost this on GBU.

I've had 3 orders with AZCK and was happy with each one. Especially since they had wait for the MO and to take some extra trouble to send it halfway 'round the world.

Jay and Karen are great! This really should be in the Good, Bad and Ugly forum, and so it goes.
