Yes they are still in business, and you are better off contacting them via email. In my experience, Benchmade really tries to take care of their customers.Hi, new member here. I am trying to get a deep carry standard clip and screws in silver for my 940. I have been trying to call customer service for 2 days, on hold for an hour once. Anyone know what’s going on? Are they still in business?
I sent them an email yesterday, we’ll see what happens. They have the clip I want at their online store for $10.00 and $15.00 shipping but they say to contact customer service for the screws, and then not answer calls. That’s a strange way of taking care of customers.Yes they are still in business, and you are better off contacting them via email. I hope it isn’t the norm as well. A lot has changed with the company since I last dealt with their CS dept, I certainly hope things aren’t going downhill.I sent them an email yesterday, we’ll see what happens. I’m new to Benchmark and love the knives - I hope my initial experience with them isn’t the norm.
I've sent Benchmade about a dozen emails over the years and they've answered a total of 0.Yes they are still in business, and you are better off contacting them via email. In my experience, Benchmade really tries to take care of their customers.
Like I said in my first post, I’m only speaking from MY personal experience, so that’s what I’m going on. They always answered my emails when I had a question or concern, so that ended up being my preferred way of dealing with them. I’m not sure why your experience was different than mine.I've sent Benchmade about a dozen emails over the years and they've answered a total of 0.
I've called them and they've been responsive that way.
It's worth a try. I've just never had any luck sending them emails.I’m not sure why your experience was different than mine.

It’s certainly odd that they have not responded to your emails. I have been communicating with their customer service using their info@benchmade.com address recently and in fact received an email from them a couple of days ago informing me that my parts request has been shipped, and they provided me with a tracking number too. Try sending your request through at info@benchmade.com again.Just a little update. Emailed benchmark again last Monday - still no answer and they are still not answering phones. I'm very disappointed in them. I guess I'm getting used to the standard parkerized clip on my 940, so, it will have to do.
yeah you can thank all the a-holes that took advantage of the free clips then turned around & sold em for 25 bucks a pop over on the bay for that. another time where a few clowns went & ruined it for everyone else.I guess the days of free pocket clips are over.
