Why publish a phone number and email if they aren't going to respond to them? IMO, a professional business responds to contacts of any sort in 24 hours or less, excluding weekends and holidays. Even if they can't provide a clear response yet, at least acknowledge they received your communication and are processing it.

I agree. I emailed them and called. No answer on both. I did get an auto response when I sent the email stating it would take 7-10 days for them to respond :rolleyes: I think they want that chat feature to be the main way to communicate.
 
Ok so heres my customer service adventure over the past month.

So I mailed in an older model because my backspacer shattered out. Was given a credit towards a new knife. So I had to call to order the new knife. Waited on hold for almost an hour then was asked what I wanted. I asked about a mini presidio and was told it was out of stock but I could order it and wait for it to come back in stock. I said no id rather pick something in stock so I picked the full size presidio that I was told was in stock. I paid the difference and ordered it. I was told that shipping may take 10-15 days because of shotshow and that their shipping department was behind from the holidays. I said that was ok. That was a Friday the next wednesday I noticed the mini presidio was showing in stock on the website so I used the chat to ask what was going on with the other order to see if I could switch it for the mini. I was told the full sized knife was in shipping so I said don't worry about it.
A week after that I get a shipping notification email but there was no tracking number so I waited another week and still no knife that Thursday I contacted them asking if they had a tracking number to see when my knife would be here. I was told that the shipping notification I received was Benchmade closing my warranty order and that the full sized presidio had gone out of stock after I ordered it and they had to wait for more to come in. They told me that they had the knife now and it should ship next week. So now it has been over 4 weeks and I still have no knife and its still not on the way.

I’m not mad its taken this long to ship. Im mad that
1 I was lied to atleast once by the first lady telling me my knife was in shipping when it was out of stock or by the guy telling me my knife was out of stock.
2 I wasn’t notified the knife I ordered was out of stock when it went out of stock. I mean I didn’t order the mini because it was out of stock and I didn’t want to wait if I was told it was out of stock I would have just picked something else.

The last CSR I chatted with was basically blowing me off saying itll ship next week. And acting like I shouldn't be mad about the whole situation.
 
Custom ordered Dec 06. Received today, Feb 28.

I LOL when I opened it... They sent the wrong knife. Ordered CF handle, laser engraving. Received tan nylon handle with pink spacer. LOL

On chat message with BM, she asked if I wanted to just keep the one I received. Funny.

I hate dealing with BM. They're making too much money to care about customer service or quality control.
 
Well yesterday I received two "free" screws for my $10.00 deep carry clip I had to order through their online store. Only took six weeks. Not to pile on, but the the edges of the clip are rough and it looks like it was stamped out of sheet metal. After a little work with my Dremel, it polished up nicely and looks as good as the cheap, Chinese clip I got on Ebay!
