Customers and friends pictures on wall of BirGorkha. Can you find yourself?

View

The kamis made a bulletin board on which to place the pictures of those who sent them. It is in an honored place next to Sri Bishwakarma. If you don't know Sri Bishwakarma you will soon. Stay tuned.

The kamis were just about as happy with these pix as they were with the gifts you sent. As a result Bura is doing a couple of special edition khukuris which I think you'll love as I did. He was working on them when I left. Stay tuned.

It is not to late to add your picture to the BirGorkha collection if you want and I encourage you to do so. The kamis really apprecaite them.

Thanks to all who sent pix and to those who will.

Gee Thanks! I see the photo I sent on the far right, and my handwriting on the edge of it but my smiling face has been cropped from the picture.

SO BE THAT WAY!!!

I know I'm still there ( I saw it in an earlier post ). And I think its not only funny but possibly good business. The kamis are used to oddities like the yeti. They can probably handle looking at me. The folks back home on the other hand.....

Sorry, Rusty. I was the photographer too! I guess I'm no better at taking pix than I am at pounding hot steel.

I hope others send pix. The kamis got a big kick out of seeing these pix and had more questions than I could answer.

My photo is the first one from the left in the second row. It's a little weird seeing my picture posted on a bulletin board in a Himalayan village. I'm hoping they'll soon need a bigger board to hold all the pictures that flood in.

Yep, and thanks for the "better" picture. I saved it and sent it to my nephew, along with a copy of the (Kumar) first one. Should make interesting discussion material at his next Boy Scout meeting

I traveled all over the world in my younger days, but it truely is becoming a small world with the WWW.

I thought we would get more than we did but I noticed some are very hesitant to send out pix of themselves. I don't like to publish my own because I'm old and ugly but what the hell. You can't stay young and beautiful all your life. Just part of the deal.

Khukuri FAQ

If anyone had told me six months ago that my picture would end up in a workshop in Nepal, and in a place of honor, I would have had serious reservations about their mental balance. Life is full of surprises. Uncle Bill, I am very glad to be a part of something that means so much to the kamis. That's what makes your operation and this forum so very special.

Mark

Thanks Mark. The kamis were impressed that a Police Chief would be the owner of several of their khukuris. As you said, life is full of surprised both here and there.
